Our main junkyard is located in Port Perry, Ontario; however, we remove scrap cars from anywhere in GTA and its surrounding areas. Our headquarters is located in Scarborough, Ontario, Ontario. The car scrapping process is detailed and regulated. At Greenway Auto Recycling, we take an extra step in practicing a safe and environmentally friendly procedure to ensure that our workers, customers, public, and environment are safe and sound during the recycling of old cars. Our facility is equipped with multiple bays containing double-wall sealed containers to store all types of fluid contamination, such as gasoline, motor oil, transmission oil, brake fluid, steering pump fluid, and radiator fluid. We have trained individuals to use our special gas vacuum to pump out any leftover freon gas from the car and store it in a special air-tight container.
We also have a trained individual who is an expert in handling car batteries. We safely remove all the batteries and store them in a safe box for recycling purposes. Certain good batteries are recharged and sold back to the public at a cheaper price. We regularly inspect the yard for any oil contamination and any other safety-related issues. Our team conducts daily safety checks on all trucks and machinery to ensure smooth and secure operations.
